The hotel booked taxis (Blue) for me and gave me directions, etc. Everyone spoke fluent English and was very friendly. The front desk was manned 24/7. Breakfast was convenient and never crowded. Location is right in the middle of the older town, with major streets on the doorstep. Bathroom had heater mirror and room had climate control. Lots of outlets for charging devices. Very modern rooms but old entrance of marble and great lounge area for siting with drinks from the lovely bar.

Fantastic stay in a historic place

The hotel is located in the historic old city near the National Bank. The area is safe and clean. It is convenient for doing anything in the city, tourism or business. The breakfast was most impressive. Great service and plentiful choice of food, everything was amazing. Good old tradition of high end hotel is preserved here with a very reasonable price. My wife and I had a great time here.

This is a stunning hotel with excellent food (e.g. breakfast and in room dining). Beds are very comfortable as well and it’s located just outside the old town. The downside is being near the old town which is just awful and you are almost forced to eat in the hotel as the food options around are down right disgusting. The big issue with this hotel is how unfriendly the staff are. In fact the only staff who could raise a smile and acknowledge people were the housing keeping staff. The dining staff, the front desk staff etc just ignore you and keep to themselves. A great hotel let down by staff that appear to not care about their guests,

The hotel is in a very convenient location for exploring the old quarter of Bucharest. The rooms are generously sized and stylishly appointed except for the one chair. When you lean back in it, it feels like an iron bar very lightly padded. A word of caution, move it out of the way as catching your toe on the legs will give you a memory that you will want to forget! The dining is good albeit with a limited menu. The buffet breakfast has all any international tourist could wish for but an extra coffee machine would not go amiss as you are likely to line up for your morning espresso. The front desk staff are excellent. You will have no trouble communicating in English with any of the staff.
