I’ve always had great experiences with Hilton…until now. My one-night stay at Hilton Buena Park was disappointing from the start. Check-in was delayed because my room wasn’t ready, and there was clearly a lack of communication with housekeeping. Unlike other Hilton locations, there were no basic amenities offered…not even a bottle of water at check-in. The next morning, I went down hoping to grab a coffee, only to be told by the waitress that I’d have to wait because they were short-staffed. Overall, this location did not meet the standard of hospitality I’ve come to expect from Hilton. I hope they can improve both service and guest experience moving forward.

The property overall was very nice and the staff were amazing. We arrived early and the front desk let us check into our room once we arrived. They don’t have self parking, so you have to valet your car but the service was convenient. They had our car ready by the time we got downstairs. The room wasn’t too bad, the only thing that I would complain about is that it was very dusty. There was a flurry of dust when the walked in the first day. Didn’t notice it too much in the evening or during the rest of our stay. I plan to stay here again if we go back to SoCal.

This is a beautiful property in a great, convenient location. I definitely enjoyed my stay! The gym has everything it needs; the pool being located on the 4th floor makes for a perfect sunset watch. The rooms are clean, service was fantastic! I didn't try the restaurant in the lobby, but it smelt delicious. HOWEVER The ONLY complaint I have is parking... They don't have a designated area specifically for the hotel, its shared parking with the busy Kpop mall connected to the hotel. When booking it stated there was free, self-parking. It failed to mention that I would have to walk quite far. So, the only choice I was given is to walk back and forth from the mall or spend $25.00 a night for valet. It just sucks that I had to spend an extra $100.00 during my stay JUST to park my vehicle. Other than that, I loved it. 8/10
