Cosy En-suite Glamping Cabin with Hot Tub

Each self contained, glamping style cabin has a comfortable double bed for two guests (maximum 2 adults) and a sofa bed which on request, can be made up to become another double bed for up to two children.

Adjacent to the cabin is a lovely wood-fired hot tub for you to enjoy during your stay.

The living space is compact but perfectly formed with a functional kitchenette with a two ring electric hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, George Foreman Grill/Toastie maker, fridge and a dining table to seat four.

The modern and well appointed bathroom has a shower, WC, basin & heated towel rail.

With an outlook over the lake and stunning countryside in every direction, each cabin has ample outdoor seating to enjoy the views, privacy fencing, a fire pit and BBQ.

There is an all weather communal entertaining space for all guests to enjoy with a great pizza oven, large party BBQ, dart board and games. There is also a play area and football goal.

The lake is free for all guests to use at their own risk, whether that be for wild swimming, kayaking (available on site to use free of charge) or paddle boarding.


Guests are able to enjoy the whole site including the shared communal barn called Beacons Bluff which has games, seating, a fire pit and pizza oven. We just ask that neighbouring guests privacy is respected where appropriate.

We pride ourselves on caring for the nature and wildlife we are surrounded by and believe it is very impactful on our guests mental health and wellbeing during their stay. We use sustainable practices whenever and wherever possible and give back to our surroundings with regular tree planting.

In each cabin you will find:
Crockery for 4 people – plates, bowls, mugs, glasses and cutlery
1 frying pan, 1 saucepan and essential utensils
A bottle opener, can opener, corkscrew, scissors and 1 vegetable knife
Washing up facilities – bowl, brush,
Builth Wells by Wigwam Holidays is set in rolling Welsh hills, not far from the England/Wales border town of Hay-on-Wye.
We have 6 ensuite cabins equipped with kitchenette, dining table, one sofa bed, one double bed, fire pits and 4 of our cabins have hot tubs too. On-site you can access our lake for swimming and kayaking and there is a footpath leading from the site to The Begwyns, National Trust land and the Stone Circle.

We have an all weather shelter for your use with a large BBQ, pizza oven, dart board and games. There is also a children's play area with a football goal.

Our wooden Wigwam Cabins are ideal for individuals, couples and families with lots to see and do in the local area.

This cabin offers its guests barbecue grills. The front desk is open around the clock.

This Builth Wells cabin is smoke free.
