This get away was just what the family needed. Everything was as listed and much more! Pack light, this house has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay! The host was great, very responsive and caring! The garage is full of outdoor activities for the whole family. The view was amazing, while sitting and drinking your morning coffee from the coffee nook! I was also very excited to see how many kayaks and paddle boards the house had for us to use. I would definitely stay again.

Our family was absolutely thrilled with our time in Bumpass at Dreams Come True. The hosts were available the entire time, with responses from them coming to us in record time. The pictures of the house are accurate. The organization of the house was beyond compare. There were some basic organized herbs and spices in good order. The washer and dryer were well cleaned as was the entire home. There are 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards available, in addition to noodles, a huge tube, and many sizes of life vests. There are outdoor sand toys, and floats. The kids jumped off the dock and played water wars! There are many things to do around Bumpass including hiking. We chose to visit Monticello which was an interesting place especially for our tweens. It is incredibly obvious that Chrystal and David want their guests to have a wonderful time, and make great family memories…which we did! So, gather your s’mores ingredients, and treat yourself to a deluxe vacation where you know there are NO unwelcome surprises!! We brought everything, but if we ever visit again, I am not sure I would pack what we did. P.s For those of you who have rented other places, you will understand what I am about to say. Their knives actually are sharp! We loved our stay! Thank you Chrystal and David!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family get together at this lake property! Below is a detailed review…Cleanliness: the house was extremely clean and you could tell it had been professionally clean very thoroughly. The property was also maintained very well, including the dock and walkway down to the waterfront. I’m extremely particular when it comes to cleanliness and this met my expectations.Communication: the host was extremely communicative throughout our entire stay! I reached out for one or two questions and had a response within 10 minutes tops! All the instructions for getting in and checking out of the house were also very clear.Location: we loved the private lake and felt like the location was wonderful on the lake! There was not a lot of boats at all, and we felt that our kids were safe tubing, kayaking, and boating Due to the minimal lake traffic. Be advised that there is not a lot of restaurant and grocery store options nearby, so plan accordingly. One night we planned to go out to dinner, but ended up changing plans due to the 25 minute drive. If you enjoy cooking in and grilling without ordering in or going out, the location will be great! We planned to have some groceries delivered via instacart which wasn’t an issue at all. House details: the bedrooms were all very spacious with ample closet space. We found the covered porch to be really enjoyable looking out at the water. The walk down to the lake on the paved path was easy, even for elderly parents.
