Chalet 3 offers a lot of comfort and space both inside and outside. The chalet is suitable for 5 people (50 m2 living space) and includes 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a kitchen with gas hob, combination microwave, fridge, freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. The living room has a cozy sitting area, gas stove / gas fireplace, dining area, television and sliding doors. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The bedrooms are arranged as follows; 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with bunk beds and 1 bedroom with double bed (under sleeper). Bed making service can be booked! A washing machine and free internet are provided.

The Duinpark Westerschouwen is located in the Westhoek of Schouwen-Duiveland on the edge of the dunes, beach and sea. There used to be a fruit orchard on this spot, the park was laid out in 2014 with natural materials such as windbreaks, dunes, pool and shell paths. The chalets are rented out in collaboration with the Van der Maas family, initiators of the Duinpark Westerschouwen. The Van der Maas family is the point of contact during the guests' stay, in their cozy farm shop with countless delicious regional products, guests are received for the key transfer.

Facilities: There are no facilities at the park, the emphasis is on the scenic and natural environment. Free internet in all chalets. Wonderful walking and MTB routes in Boswachterij Westerschouwen. Cozy restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful, compact 18-hole, par-3 golf course De Molenberg.

Wenig Sinn für`s Wessentliche

Unser Haus war neu, dementsprechend gepflegt und modern (komplett mit IKEA-Möblen) eingerichtet und verfügte über ein großzügiges Bad. Leider stehen diesen Vorteilen einige Nachteile gegenüber: - es gab keine Spülmaschine - es gab keinen Kleiderschrank & das Schlafzimmer war so klein, dass man noch nicht einmal den Koffer aufgeklappt auf die Erde stellen konnte; lediglich im Einzelzimmer war eine bewegliche Kleiderstange vorhanden; auch im Zimmer mit dem Hochbett gab es (aus Platzgründen) keinerlei Möglichkeit, Wäsche unterzubringen (hier konnte man kaum den Lichtschalter betätigen, da dieser hinter den Bettstreben lag) - am Esstisch konnten aus Platzgründen maximal 3 Personen sitzen (der vierte Stuhl war so eng zwischen Tisch und Küchenzeile eingequetscht, dass er nicht zu benutzen war und der mögliche fünfte Platz vor Kopf mit Klappstuhl war indiskutabel) - es fehlte neben Grillbesteck auch ein großer Topf zum Nudeln kochen - als Kaffeemaschine steht lediglich eine Nespresso-Kaspel-Maschine bereit, welche (zumindest aus ökologischer Sicht) absolut unbrauchbar ist - im Park selbst gibt es weder eine Ansprechperson (je nach Haus sind scheinbar verschiedene Verwalter zuständig, die - zumindest in unserem Fall - mehrere Kilometer entfernt wohnen) noch git es fussläufig einen Bäcker o.ä. - auf dem Gelände des Parks gibt es keinerlei Freizeit- oder Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder - während unseres Aufenthaltes fanden zudem Bauarbeiten am Park statt, so dass wir zeitweise bereits morgens füh durch Baulärm geweckt wurden und die Zufahrt zum Park teilweise nur eingeschränkt möglich war Insgesamt sind wir trotz des neuwertigen und sauberen Zustandes des Hauses ziemlich enttäuscht!
