Casa Burnside | Margaret River
Casa Burnside is a stunning family home ideally located in Burnside, just 10mins north west of Margaret River town. The home is on a 3 acre block backing onto natural bush, while there are neighbouring properties there is enough space to feel the calm, it’s the perfect setting for a laid back down south holiday. Just 1min drive from the famous Caves Road tourist drive, 10mins to Gnarabup Beach, 10mins to Cowaramup and 15mins to Gracetown; you have access to all that the Margaret River Region has to offer.
The Space
As you enter through the light filled entry gallery, to the left is the bedroom wing and to the right is the living quarters, the home has been cleverly designed in two separate wings.
The living, dining and kitchen are open plan with large glass sliding doors, polished concrete floors and high ceilings. This is where holiday memories are made. The galley style kitchen with large island bench is a cooks delight, with gas stove, double ovens and coffee machine. Besides a reverse cycle air-conditioning there is a double sided Cheminees Philippe wood fireplace in the centre of the living room, with TV and comfortable couch.
There is an outdoor undercover alfresco area with seating for 8 guests, perfect for an evening meal cooked on the BBQ. There is an amazing pool area, new in April 2024. The pool is heated.
As you enter the bedroom wing you have the main bathroom on the left with double vanity, walk in shower and bathtub, with separate toilet next door. On the right side, down the hall are the bedrooms; Bedroom 2 has 1 x queen, Bedroom 3 has 1 x queen and Bedroom 4 has 2 x single beds (photos to come). On the left is an open study area with built in desk, if you happen to be on a working holiday. The spacious master suite is at the north end of the bedroom wing, it is light & bright with a king bed, walk in robe and ensuite bathroom with double vanity, walk in shower and toilet. All bedrooms are equipped with a reverse cycle air-conditioning.
There is a double carport for 2 vehicles and ample parking on the gravel driveway. The laundry is outside the house, in the front corner of the shed. The yard has a large lawn area, and a newly build (and fenced) pool. Perfect for adults to relax and the kids to play and an afternoon bocce session.
Casa means home, and Casa Burnside is the perfect home away from home while on holiday down south!
