Putting Coolest in the title creates certain expectations. It's probably not as cool as when it first opened. Great room, great view, lovely rooftop pool.

The hotel had such a great vibe, near transit amenities and in a cute sleepy surf town! Place was clean, staff were polite and kind, i never tried the restaurant. Lots of places to eat. If you run, amazing running path all the way to Haeundae. 40 min walk to the Yonugungsa Temple and Lotte Mall.

Great location and friendly staff

The location of the hotel is great - next door to a fabulous cocktail bar - possibly the best I’ve been to called Railside bar and also next to the beach train station. There is a great boardwalk that runs the length of the beach train taking you to the livelier side of town. We found the staff very helpful unfortunately the way the lift works you tend to bypass the lobby area as you come and go, which is a shame as it’s a nice way to interact and appreciate the service of the staff.

The coolest indeed

Had an amazing time at The Coolest Hotel Busan. Wonderful colleagues, brilliant finishing touches and an awesome base to go and explore Busan. We would definitely visit again. The style is great and the perks of the rooftop bar and the grotto bar are brilliant Thank you for a great stay. Top tip, buses don’t let you get on with suitcases but it’s only a quick taxi from Busan station or the subway to get there. Super simple.

Nice hotel with some quirks.

The bathroom was a little dirty. There was hair on the floor from the previous party that stayed there. Also there is parking outside and the "tower" self parking. Unless you have a luxury car though they will ask you to park inside. To me this seems a bit rude because regardless of the type of car I am driving I am paying the same amount to stay there. So even if there is available parking outside you will potentially have to wait in line for the self parking. Also three times during my stay I needed to return to the lobby to get my key re-keyed. I was told to keep it away from the other cards I have. At this point this is a common sense thing to me so I just said okay. The second time I asked why this keep happening and I was told they were not sure. The third time I was told that their system drops the rooms every day because they don't expect people to stay long. All of those answer seemed unsatisfactory to me and not so much of an apology for the repeated inconvenience.

The property was great for the train/sky capsule line, and were at a couple of great restaurants nearby. However, the reception was not always manned, we were asked to schedule our room service, and the breakfast was poor - a croissant with ham and cheese (no vegetarian option) and three tiny pieces of cut fruit.

This actually is a very cool place. Big rooms with sea views and some of the best beds I have ever tried. Staff is great and the area around the hotel is my favourite part of Busan. Highly recommended.

This hotel was very clean and spacious compared to the average Korean hotel. Great views of the beach and balcony was amazing! Pool was really fun and the to go breakfast was great. Overall, nice comfortable foreign friendly hotel.

A great stay at The Coolest Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at The Coolest Hotel. The front desk staff (Rayoon) was so helpful and kind. The breakfast was also convenient! We enjoyed the view from our balcony as well as the pool. The room we booked was the smallest room type. Perhaps next time I would book a slightly bigger one.

This hotel is quite far from the main attractions and transit isn't that close - either a 7 or 20 min walk depending on which route Naver recommends. Downsides: - the fragrance is overwhelming in all common areas from the elevators, halls to the lobby. If you are allergic or sensitive, be warned - housekeeping is dismal. There only constant was removal of garbage. Whether they refilled your water, took away used mugs, replaced towels or made your bed was different every day - there are only 2 elevators and 1 was out of service the entire time we were there (5 nights). You can also unselect the floor and end up missing your floor only to have to wait again for it to go in the direction you want - room is extremely small. Exit light stays on all the time, so if you like it dark, throw a shirt over it Staff is helpful but rigid - no check-in before 3. They literally will not process your paperwork before that. Breakfast is at 8, not a minute before even though they are packaged for takeaway. We had to get to the train station early in the morning and hoped to pick them up 5 mins before - nope There is a nice boarded trail you can walk along.

The property was clean and bright but breakfast was a ham and cheese crossiant and a wedge of orange. Thinks were broken down elevator twice. Hours were strange no breakfast before 8 no pool before 9. And when we arrived we werent sure where to check in and when we finally decided we must go up to the 2nd fllor there was no staff around for a good 10 minutes.

The hotel is trying very hard to be hipster boutique, but it lacked facilities. No bar, restaurant and not much around it. Toilets by the pool locked and were asked about the time we wanted our room cleaned and we said noon and yet when got back at 4.00pm it still haven’t been cleaned. Maid left us hand towels and no bath towels and there is nowhere to hand towels after use. The room was nice and bright and airy, but the emergency exit light was on constantly at night and made the room very light.

The hotel is pretty new, less than a year old, so the rooms are spacious, everything worked perfectly and the hotel has some charm with the pool at the rooftop and the great views of the beach from the room. Staff was great, very nice , polite and helpful. Finally location wise, is next to the beach, one of the tourist attractions to Busan but a bit far from anything else. Still there are ways around like subway or the costal touristic trains that takes you closer Busan center. Will recomend it!
