With its unique history and unbeatable location, this retreat offers the perfect blend of character and convenience for an unforgettable escape.



The Space:

Located directly opposite Eagle Bay Beach and once the heartbeat of Eagle Bay as the Old General Store, this villa has been transformed into a charming coastal retreat where history meets modern comfort. The open-plan living area is furnished with leather sofas, a TV, and reverse-cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable year-round. The adjoining dining table and kitchen are fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, a coffee machine, and a breakfast bar, making it ideal for casual meals.



The surrounding glass sliding doors lead to the alfresco dining setting, complete with a BBQ and a sparkling private pool with shaded sun loungers. The villa offers two spacious king bedrooms with private ensuites, while a separate studio offers two single beds combined into a king and its own ensuite with a luxurious standalone bathtub. The bathrooms are modern and thoughtfully spaced for your convenience.



The property also features high-speed internet, a washer and dryer, and driveway parking. We provide bath towels only. Please bring your own pool towels.



Eagle Bay Beach Retreat is located on the lower level of the property. The upstairs residence, Casa Indigo, is also managed by us and can be booked separately for groups wishing to stay close together.

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire villa to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!



The Neighborhood:

Located on Meelup Road, this villa offers easy access to the stunning Eagle Bay Beach, a dog-friendly haven ideal for morning or evening strolls. Just seven kilometres from Dunsborough Town, you’ll find boutique shops, cafes, and local attractions. Nearby, Wise Winery and Eagle Bay Brewery provide excellent food and wine experiences, while the wider Margaret River region offers art galleries, hiking trails, and world-renowned vineyards. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat or a base for exploration, this location has it all.

Parking: Free parking is provided on the driveway. The garage is not available for guest access.



Airport: 40 minute drive from Busselton Margaret River Airport.

Location was excellent with easy access to the beach. Bedrooms & bathrooms spacious & well appointed. Wardrobe was filled up with vacuum cleaner & spare linen leaving no room for clothing when there were other options for storage. Basics like coffee for one of the 3 coffee machines & laundry powder would be appreciated. Windows & pool glass both need a good clean.

Beautiful property right by the beach

This property has a hotel feel with modern furnishings, extremely comfortable beds and is well equipped and exceptionally clean. Great location right opposite Eagle Bay beach. Unfortunately the pool wasn’t warm enough for us to swim in despite the high December temps and no lawn for our dog to do her business apart from a very small artificial patch. However, this would not stop us from visiting Eagle Bay Beach Retreat again, we loved it.

Luxurious seaside retreat

We loved our stay at Eagle Bay Beach Retreat. The home is luxurious and spacious, with everything you could want for a relaxing stay at Eagle Bay. The pool was wonderfully refreshing after a swim at the local beach which is only a 2 minute walk away! Thank you!

The inside of the house was very clean and tidy. We paid quite a bit to stay here as is was over the Australia Day public holiday I think. When we arrived the codes given only opened the main house - the 3rd bedroom was seperate and locked with a different code. I am pretty sure we paid the price for 3 bedrooms but apparently not. The pool was dirty and full of sand - we didn't use it once. Ironically the pool man must have turned up on the last day of our stay - as we came home from lunch and the pool was clean. Lovely location and great spot. But extremely overpriced when only getting 2 bedrooms and a dirty pool.

The location and the house itself are fantastic. There was next to no storage in rooms 2 and 3. We had to clean all of the air conditioners. The filters were very dirty and making us cough. However we had a fantastic holiday and loved the place.

Great location for enjoying beach, wineries and touring the Margaret River

Eagle Bay Beach Retreat was the perfect getaway for a relaxing holiday by the beach with good friends. Well equipped kitchen, outdoor pizza oven and bbq for entertaining at home. Comfortable bedroom accomodation with luxury en-suite bathrooms. Our host was very helpful leading up to and during our stay, providing helpful hints on wine tours and other features nearby... not to mention the later checkout. Thank you again for a great stay.. it was very relaxing and a great way to recharge the batteries.. and brush up on our cooking, BBQ and pizza making skills!
