Tucked away on the peaceful Drysdale Farm in Metricup, The Quiet Shed is a simple studio retreat set amongst 46 hectares of countryside, including 20 hectares of native bushland. With open paddocks, native surroundings and the occasional sheep or kangaroo passing by, it’s a great spot to slow down and switch off.
Located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, you’re just a short drive to some of the area’s best known wineries and local attractions. Vasse Felix is only 10 minutes away, with The Beerfarm and Quack’s Farm close by. This studio is ideal for couples looking for a relaxed, no-fuss stay close to it all.
The Space
This newly built studio is simple, comfortable, and has everything you need for an easy stay. Inside, there’s an open plan living area with a Smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen including an oven, dishwasher, and coffee machine.
Off the living space, the separate bedroom has a queen bed, while the bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and washing machine. It’s a straightforward, functional setup, ideal for guests looking for a relaxed base while exploring the region.
Outside, there is a small seating area with a BBQ overlooking the paddocks. It’s a quiet place to enjoy a morning coffee or an easy meal while taking in the rural setting.
Guests are welcome to explore the property, including the surrounding bushland, with access available through farm gates. For an easier walk, the laneway offers a relaxed way to experience the bushland without heading off track. Please keep your dog on a leash at all times and ensure gates are closed behind you.
