Nature`s finest! Enjoy a memorable experience at the historic Thunderhead Lodge. This rustic vacation rental is one of 5 traditional 'Up North' cottages that accommodate 4 guests. The beach area offers a spectacular view of Butternut Lake and a lakeside dock to enjoy fishing. There are picnic tables and a firepit down by the beach to enjoy roasting marshmallows and having family gatherings.

Butternut Lake is 1,006 acres in size and has a maximum depth of 32 feet. Species of fish include musky, northern, walleye, largemouth bass, small mouth bass, panfish and sturgeon.
