Heron Cottage

Heron Cottage is a delightful two bedroom cottage with open plan living and dining space. Located in the market town of Bakewell, the cottage is situated on the banks of the River Wye. Guests are surrounded by the most magnificent countryside but are within easy reach of the many Peak District attractions. The nearest shop is 1½ miles and public house is just half a mile. There is also a daily bus service to Bakewell from Monsal Head which is half a mile away.
The Upperdale Cottages can all be booked alongside each other providing accommodation for up to 18 guests.
Four holiday cotages are available on this site, each one sleeping 4-6 guests. The cottages are located very located very close to the popular Monsal Trail, bike storage is also available on site.
Outside, you can find a garden (safe for children) with garden furniture & a BBQ, as well as off-road parking for 2 cars per cottage.
Why not enhance your stay with a visit to Chatsworth, with over 30 rooms, a farmyard and playground as well as 105 acres of gardens?

An 18th Century former pig barn tastfully converted in 2015 with all accommodation at ground level located approximately 100 meters from three Upperdale Cottages. Heron Cottage has its own parking and garden area with garden furniture and BBQ
