Village Accomodations - One Bedroom (C) Cottage

The Outer Banks Motel on Cape Hatteras is offering a unique opportunity to stay in a historical cottage built around 1945. Cottage 'C' is part of the 'Carol's Cottages' (47571 NC Hwy 12) and is safely located one mile from the oceanfront. Please register and procure your cottage keys from the main office located at the oceanfront (46577 NC Hwy 12). Full access to the pool, hot tub (in-season) and oceanfront amenities are included.

The cottage being offered is a one bedroom cottage of our 'Carol's Cottages' Collection located at 47571 NC Hwy 12 in Buxton, NC. It's strategically located on a side street for added privacy. The front door opens into the newly renovated and spacious open floor plan. With large windows on three sides of the cottage, the spectacular morning sunrises over the ocean will flood your sole with awe while you're enjoying your morning cup of joe on the deck. While not an unobstructed view, the views of the ocean and Pamilco Sound are panoramic. The custom kitchen cabinets are new for the 2024 guests. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, standard coffee maker, toaster, and electric can opener. All the pots, pans, dining and silverware are provided. The bedroom is off the kitchen and has a queen bed and a twin bed with a closet and an antique heirloom dresser. The full bathroom, complete with a bathtub, is across the hall from the bedroom. This one bedroom cottage has a locked adjoining door that accesses a standard motel room, and if available, could be rented with your cottage for an additional charge. The oceanfront is just steps from your cottage, the saltwater pool and hot tub are just in front of you. Below the cottage is the motel guests' coin-operated washer and dryer and ice machine. Newly upgraded WIFI and basic cable are included.

This cottage offers its guests a hot tub. The front desk is open around the clock.
