There was initially some confusion between Hotel Riu chains, two locations were both called 'Hotel Riu Palace'. During airport transportation, we had to say Baja California for clarification on where to go. However, this was a great location - beautiful view of the ocean and an infinite pool. The hotel rooms and public spaces were very clean. Restaurants were good, recommend arriving early to some to avoid a wait. Would visit again and would recommend to others!

The staff are all so pleasant to be around, they are all more than happy to provide services at the bars, restaurants and pools. The facilities are very well kept and location is perfect! Gorgeous costal views and close to town!

A Nice Stay

Lots of tasty food choices - breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets plus restaurants - Steak House, Asian, Mexican, Italian. No reservations required. Evening shows were disappointing considering it is a higher end resort. Rooms are well appointed but very cool at night. Pool area was OK with rows and rows of chairs/people all packed in to small area.

Every common area has an incredible view, so don't worry if you book a room that does not. Easy to find open chairs on the beach daily. Disregard reviews that say the beach and ocean are closed off in front of the property, that may have been a temporary situation but both were wide open during our stay. Plenty of variety on dining. Easy 30~ minute walk down the sand to the port for shopping, more sights. We felt safe at this resort. Enjoyed an adults-only atmosphere that included all generations and types (couples, girls trips, adult families). Recommend booking a sunset boat ride to the arch directly with Cabo Adventures on their website, versus a 3rd party. My only complaint was inconsiderate guests and peddlers, but that had nothing to do with the resort.

This is my second visit here in a year. I love this hotel. The vendors on the beach are a bit much. We stayed on the grounds the entire time to avoid them. Fantastic time!

We were very impressed with this resort. From check in to check out everything was smooth and easy. Wonderful staff, delicious food particularly the specialty restaurants. The overall vibe was a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

Noticed an older crowd, not too loud at night. Lots of food options and have access to all the other Riu Resorts beside. Good liquor options also compared to the other resorts!
