Unwind in this great nicely updated cottage across the street from Lake Barkley. Freshened up with love and attention to detail. We kept the unique vintage style and added modern touches like new appliances, new flooring, fresh paint and great coffee/wine drinking screened in patio that will fit the whole family!
Community boat ramp is a 10 min walk.
Easy access to Hwy 68 will lead you to all the wonderful things to do in The Land Between the Lakes. Start with antiquing in historic Cadiz, go to the planetarium or bison prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen and a grill.

We are available to answer any questions, we are the owners and self manage all three of our homes. When you call, you reach "US" my husband John and I are near by to assist or answer any questions.

This is a very wonderful property located on the land between the lakes. It is up on a hill and allows you to see the sunset and beautiful surrounding views of the lake. The house itself is very clean with plenty of space and a nice back yard. The property is very large and has a big screened in porch. It’s especially nice to sit in this porch as the sun sets. The owners had very good communication and provided plenty of information to make our stay the best possible. We hope to return someday.

Great place. Hosts are responsive to questions. VERY Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of games and puzzles. Place lookes recently remodeled. For a place that takes pets, there were no smells or stains. The house is so warm and inviting...like home away from home. Very clean and comfortable. We liked the location, which is near the lake, on a quiet street of houses. Lake Barkley State Park is less than 2 miles away and Cadiz was only 7 miles. We loved the sun porch, where we spent a great deal of time in spite of the high temperatures.We appreciated the extra toiletries in each bathroom and ample kitchen necessities. We had a great stay here. We were happy!

Thanksgiving Getaway

I took my daughter, daughter-in-law and five grandchildren, (two are 9, one is 5, and twins are almost 2) on a short getaway (just two days). The location to all of the things we wanted to see at Land Between the Lakes was great. It was close enough to come back to the house for lunch and a short break between morning and afternoon events.
