There is also a yoga platform to lounge or practice in the mornings. You are within 300 meters walking distance to the beach and to the tourist town of Puerto Viejo.
The space
Welcome to Casa Miel.

This property is 300 meters to the beaches of Playa Negra and it has a brand new yoga deck in the tropical gardens with fruit trees, scaling palms, and tropical flowers.
Perfect for one or two families, up to three couples, or small wellness retreats.

All this and you are a 10m walk or 5m bike ride to the vibrant town of Puerto Viejo with its amazing restaurants and shops.

There are large, open and vaulted ceilings that allow you to enjoy the indoor/outdoor dining and living areas where you can keep your eyes open for one of two resident sloths in the area.

This property comfortably sleeps 6 with two bedrooms and two baths in the main house and a fully equipped studio apartment, kitchen, and full bath very close to the main house.

There is a huge brand new pool for your enjoyment of you don’t want to walk the 3 minutes down to the beach!

We have high speed fiber-optic internet so you can work out on the patio while enjoying the garden views.

Spend your day lounging in a hammock, swimming in the pool, hanging out at the beach, and enjoying meals either at home or at one of the many amazing restaurants in Puerto Viejo. If you are up for an adventure, Puerto Viejo is rich with activities including zip-lining, chocolate tours, horseback riding, river rafting, surfing, hikes to waterfalls, spa treatments, salsa lessons and a variety of cultural activities that allow you to learn more about the Caribbean and Indigenous cultures.

All guests will love keeping an eye out for iguanas, monkeys, exotic birds, traditional Costa Rican frogs and if you are lucky a sloth or two.

Great stay! Beautiful property. It’s 2 house on the same property. Walking distance from Puerto. Viejo. Well stocked kitchens. Safe. Lots of wildlife. Across the road from a great beach!
