The property was very nice but my Son and I got Food poisoning on our last night at your hotel. We traveled to Luxor the next morning after spending the night in your bathroom. My son was so sick the hotel in Luxor Stienberger doctor saw him 5times IV ‘s plus medication for the food poisoning. We only ate in your hotel and we did like what we had except getting sick. Your concierge set up a driver and a tour guide who was fantastic. I only wish my son who spent 3 days the the hotel room in Luxor could have seen the Valley of the Kings.

The spa was top tier, sauna, hot tub, steam room, comp fruit, tea water, pool area was clean and beautiful, lounge area outside with live music, three restaurants, food was amazing, the smell throughout the hotel was so beautiful. I will definitely be back and next time I will bring my children so that they can experience Egypt as well. My daughter and I are black from Chicago and California and we felt safe walking around there are a lot of street vendors and ppl selling trinkets but you can negotiate the price for sure.

Please forgive me, I accidentally left a 1-star review earlier and haven’t been able to figure out how to remove it. I want to make it clear that I truly enjoyed my stay at Sofitel! In fact, I loved it so much that I extended my trip by two extra nights and chose to continue staying at Sofitel. The service and staff were absolutely wonderful, everyone was very friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, and while it was a little noisy on the balcony, once the doors were closed, it was very quiet inside. The views were lovely, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The restaurants served great food, we especially enjoyed the Lebanese restaurant and ended up dining there almost every day because the food was so delicious! Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!
