The hotel resort itself was very nice and the rooms clean quiet and comfortable beds. We had a welcome drink and breakfast included..I was disappointed with both. The welcome drink was just a juice - I expected an alcoholic drink ?! The breakfast buffet was large and with many items but I have to say this was the worst breakfast I have ever had anywhere. I could not eat a thing. The toast was very dry the eggs were dry and crusty. I think perhaps you could order custom eggs not sure as we were in a rush. Pool area and bar seemed nice enough but it was cool time of year to use. And the lobby bar was nice to have a drink and smoke. I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport. So it served its purpose for 1 night for our group.

This is the perfect place to stay for your last night in Cairo. Nice rooms. Lots of food & drink options. Shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes. Took us 5 minutes on the shuttle to our terminal.

Heating and lighting was faulty in the room allocated. I was moved to another’upgrade’ room late at night, which also had faulty lighting. This room was renovated but already looks tired. The price of this hotel has increased hugely and it must improve its basic operational management to match its higher prices. Disappointing as I have used this place a lot in the past.

Check in was smooth. Reception did not give enough details about restaurants open at the time we checked in as it was a bit late and we could not go out to eat. He said the restaurant in the premise are closed while when we checked at the bar he said there is a restaurant open late. So I wish the reception gave us correct information which could have saved us sometime searching for restaurants near by that late at night.
