Avoid owner’s offers (tours/services)
The view of the Pyramids from this apartment was excellent and the apartment is also nice and well up-kept. The apartment is is a raggedy building and neighborhood, though. Be vigilant about this when you’re getting ready to book. The worst part of this booking was the owner/manager of the apartment. He kept pushing “tours” on us. He offered us a “tour” of Alexandria that we accepted unfortunately and charged us a hefty price for something that wasn’t even close to being a tour. There was no tour and no services except a driver who drove us to two locations only. What a complete rip off… He took advantage of us being tourists and ripped us off completely. They were completely shady and sketchy. Be aware, foreigners. The view of the pyramids from the apartment alone is NOT worth staying there with these deceitful people. Should you still decide to stay here DO NOT accept anything they offer you.. do your due diligence and book your own tours with legitimate companies and not these rip offs. I read comments on this listing before i booked and took them with a grain of salt which i regret. Take heed in my advice and book your stay elsewhere.
