The shaping landscape also makes Piedmont a popular place for road biking. It is possible to rent bicycles in Nizza Monferrato.
It is just over 1 hour down to Savona on the Italian Riviera, and approx 2 hours up to Lake Como by the Alps. The house is located between the big cities of Milan, Turin and Genoa, with approx. 1.5 hours to each of these. It is not very far from the French riviera either, approx 3 hours by car to Nice.
The nearest airports are in Milan. The closest is Milan Malpensa, 1.5 hours. You can also fly to Linate or Bergamo. From Nice in France it is approx. 3 hours drive.
