Hotel and service is great. The area immediately is good though if you want to walk downtown is a different story. The area on the way downtown is very sketchy and the homelessness and drug use is rampant. I would be cautious if you want to walk downtown

The hotel and room had a colourful arty style. The lobby was a great place to heat up food, play pool or just sit and have a coffee. Easy walk to the library or the river and a huge supermarket a block away. Very quiet.
