The host:Kind, helpful, and quick to respond right from the first day we booked. Check-in:Really quick and simple, and the door codes were easy to remember which we appreciated! Building and Location:Super convenient, short walk to the river, Kensington, the train station, and there's a coffee shop right across the street. There was always a parking spot on the street out front for parking over night (read the signs), and we also used a spot in the alley. The building was very quiet. We stayed for 5 days and didn't hear any noise from outside, or from other building tenants. The Room:It's more like a hotel room than an apartment, but it's exactly as pictured! It's pretty bare bones, you get what you pay for, but it's got most of the essentials; bathroom with toilet paper, soap, shampoo, 2 towels, and INCREDIBLE water pressure in the shower. Kitchens got a microwave, mini-fridge, and small stove, 2 plates, bowls, cups, etc. There are no cleaning supplies provided, having a broom and some Lysol wipes provided would have made the stay feel a bit more comfortable. If you're staying for more than a night or two I would recommend bringing some paper towel and what not. Overall if you're not fancy person and you're looking for a nice private bed and a bathroom, for a very affordable price, this is the spot ! I would absolutely stay here again, if traveling alone or with a partner or friend I don't mind sharing a bed with :)Thank you to our host!
