We had a great stay at the Ramada in Calgary! The location was absolutely perfect—just steps from great restaurants, bars, and everything we needed during our time in the city. It also turned out to be the ideal base camp for our day trips to Banff, which made everything super convenient. The room was comfortable and clean, and we especially appreciated the bathtub/shower combo with endless hot water after long days of exploring. The area felt very safe, and the staff went above and beyond—everyone was so friendly and helpful. For the very reasonable price, this place exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Calgary or looking for a jumping-off point to the Rockies!

Deck was dirty, rest of the room was nice and comfortable. Only thing that was odd was lack of coffee shops or stores open in the morning/late due to it being a business area i guess. Other than that it was a nice stay. Pet friendly is bonus $25 a night is kinda steep tho, most places are just a flat rate of $25.

Rooms was ok, was clean and did come with fridge. Parking availability was terrible! We got to hotel about 7 p.m. and parking lot was full, and no other designated area for more parking or for oversized trucks. There is no way a big truck could get into the underground parking anyway. When paying $200 plus for a hotel room - free parking needs to be made available.

It's not a great property, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. It was clean enough. What really annoyed me though is that they not only over-charged me by about $8 from the confirmed Expedia rate, but they also did not remove the $100 security deposit and I had to call in to get this resolved. My friend who stayed in another room had the exact same thing happen, so it seems like a pattern. As of writing, I'm still waiting for the refund but they do sound like they will take care of it.
