The property itself is terrible. It looks like a dirty trucker motel. Staff friendly. Not worth the cheap price.

Our suite was an unexpected surprise as we were only expecting a basic hotel room for the price. It was very spacious and well equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were lovely, our suite was clean. We had a number of issues with suite from fridge not working to a whole bank of electrical outlets not working; having said that, once we notified front desk the issues were fixed within a day and the fridge was actually replaced with a new one within an hour, very much appreciated. Location is extremely quiet (like vacant) at night. Good if you need to be downtown but we didn't want to go out at night because it felt unsafe.

Very comfortable stay. I have stayed here twice and will again. Mark is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Reasonable rates considering the size of the suites, and in the downtown area.

Bad experience with neighbor room fighting and assaulting woman in room. Approached desk to deal with it seemed uninterested. As a result we did not sleep and finally gave up..

Great location. Close to everything. I gave 4 star to property condition and facilities due to the elevator being under construction. They have 2 elevators but apparently, only 1 was working. Sometimes it takes a long time to get on the elevator and its really small. 3-4 people can fit. Otherwise, we love it. Having a kitchen is really nice on vacations.

1. Fake curtains that can’t even close to block light. 2. Very noisy. Doors are not soundproof. 3. Room right beside the cleaning staff room. Terrible noise. 4. Very hot room. Can’t even adjust the air conditioner. 5. No slippers. 6. TV not able to cast.

Coast downtown rocks!!

I was really amazed by the room. I knew from reviews the hotel itself is old school. Which i found super cute. I loved the little chandelier lights in the lobby. Mark checked me in and is such a gem, so friendly and awesome. He made checkin in simple and stress free. Then when i got to the room i was in awe of how big and great ot was. It was like staying in a fancy two bedroom apartment. Had everything we could need. Super clean and the beds were so amazing. I will definitely stay again. If you arr looking to stay downtown at an affordable price while in the best room this is the place

The quality of the Coast Calgary Downtown far surpasses the price of the stay. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. It was a great spot to stay downtown as it is a very walkable area. I would definitely stay here again.
