Schöne Wohnung

Eine schöne Wohnung, ruhig und etwas abgelegen oberhalb von Calheta. Man braucht auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen. Sauberkeit ist gut, wir hatten anfänglich Ameisen in der Küche, aber das wurde schnell behoben. Die Terrasse mit Whirlpool und Meerblick ist super! Etwas mehr Ausstattung wäre gut: es gibt nur jeweils 3 Handtücher, Wäschewechsel heißt also waschen oder 3 Kaffeebecher. Eine normale Kaffemaschine hätten wir bevorzugt, das Nespresso Teil nervt... Das kleine Bett mit nur einer Decke muss man mögen. Die Stühle auf der Terrasse könnten bequemer sein. Insgesamt allerdings empfehlenswert, modern und gepflegt.

Great stay

We‘ve had a wonderful stay at Santos House. Check-In was easy: A nice man was waiting for us and showed us the apartment. Parking is possible directly on the object (behind a gate) or in front of the house. If you want to park behind the gate you clearly need good driving skill or a mate who instructs you - but it is completely doable! The situation of the object is wonderful - 35 min to Funchal and 3 minutes to the port and restaurants of Calheta. Calheta has a sand beach by the way… ;) Hiking trails are available from Calheta or a short drive. The owner of the Apartment is really nice and is in touch with you in case anything is wrong. Coudn‘t recommend anything more than this apartment :)
