This beautiful stone property, fully restored in 2019, sits in a peaceful rural location called Florenças, a small parish within Calheta, on the southwest region of the island, and has the most amazing panoramic ocean and mountains views. If you’re a nature lover and wish to get away from the noisy and stressful city life, Recanto das Florenças holiday houses offers you a great opportunity to relax and have a romantic or family holiday break, next to the mountains and the beach at the same time!
The cottage was kept with its original Madeiran style, maintaining the same elegance and comfort properties that it always had before.

With a vast garden, filled with flowers and a beautiful lawn, you will be able to enjoy the most incredible sunrises and sunsets.

It is within the very quiet, calm and peaceful small village of Florenças that you will feel like being part of a paradise. Agriculture is still a big characteristic of Florencas environment and, of course, its very own helpful and friendly people, that still take care of their lands, growing their own vegetable, herbs & fruits, everyday! You couldn’t ask for better neighbors!

Recanto das Florenças consists of two “joint” houses but with separated entrances. Car parking is also freely avaliable within the property. House n.º 1 is a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment and house n.º 2 is a one bedroom/one bathroom one. Both are fully equipped with lounge and kitchen, and all the appliances you’ll eventually need are there. Besides, it’s located just a few minutes way from supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops.

Recanto das Florenças n.º 1 and 2 can be booked separately or together. Take notice, though, that when separately booked, the house garden will eventually be shared, but room or space for everyone is a thing that won’t miss!

Lovely rural house and garden

Tolles Haus

Das Haus ist toll gelegen, sehr ruhig und mit tollem Ausblick. Wir haben das Frühstück draußen sehr genossen und die Sonnenuntergänge ebenfalls. Die Eigentümer und Rosa sind sehr nett und das Willkommensgeschenk war das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Handtücher sind mehr als ausreichend, sogar für den Strand. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Landestypisches Steinhaus, voll ausgestattet, mit wunderschönem Garten. Liegt 600m oberhalb der Küste. Netter Vermieter, viele Infos im Haus vorhanden. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Eigener Parkplatz vorhanden.

Un magnifique voyage

Notre hôte José Miguel était très accueillant et très sérieux, il a répondu très rapidement dès la location de la maison. On sentait vraiment que notre bien-être était important pour lui et sa famille. La maison était très propre et jolie, dans l'esprit madérien, joliment décorée. L'annonce et les photos correspondent vraiment à la réalité. La vue est splendide sur la montagne et l'océan. Le quartier est très serein, ce qui est très reposant. La maison est à proximité de tout, ce qui fait que nous n'avons pas passé des heures dans la voiture ppur visiter Madère. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de José Miguel et de sa famille ainsi, bien sûr, de Madère!
