Why Callala Beach?
Often mistaken as ‘Koala Beach’, Callala is quite simply a treasure in Jervis Bay. Unspoilt and beautifully calm, the beach sprawls 5.6 km long with views of Huskisson shoreline not too far out of sight. In fact, you can easily board a short ferry to Huskisson from neighbouring suburb Myola.

Whether you’re a water-baby and plan on spending your time in the crystal clear beach, or trying your hand angling for the best that Jervis Bay has to offer, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the occasional dolphin show.

In true holiday style, if cooking is off the agenda, be sure to frequent the local RSL for a hearty feed or jump in the car for a 15 minute drive to Greenwell Point where the oysters and prawn farms await you.

If you’re looking for another excuse to visit the area, why not plan a trip or two to neighbouring beaches such as Hyams, Vincentia, Greenpatch, Long Beach and Honeymoon Bay - no more than 30 minute drive from the house.

Make Lennox & Lewis your next destination. After all, at only 100 metres from the beach itself, where else can you go that is just as beautiful and only 2.5 hours outside of Sydney?

Owner’s notes:
1. We love our furry mates just as much as you do, the property is pet friendly. Callala Beach is dog friendly off leash between 4pm and 8am. (permission required from owner)

2. If you have too many friends for our three bedroom delight, we also have our Little Lewis cottage available for booking. There is just enough distance between our two homes to block out any of the loud sleepers!

3. This property is fully self contained and is not a serviced property. You will need to bring all toiletry items and supply your own washing powder, dish detergent, toilet paper and food.

4. Linen (sheets) and bath towels will be provided complimentary.

5. Unlimited wifi available for all smart devices,
Property includes smart TV, however you will need to have your own login details for favourite streaming service.

6. We like our neighbours Lennox and Lewis is a NO SCHOOLIES, BUCKS OR HENS PARTY HOUSE'.

Brilliant stay!

Have stayed here several times in both summer and winter, with and without kids. This is an oasis ANY time of the year! Whether you want to sit by the log fire , luxuriate in the clawfoot bubble bath , lounge on the deck playing games or read , wander on the beach even see a pod of dolphins if you’re lucky , swimming in the calm waters . Beautiful property in look, feel and comfort, in a quiet area and a very short walk to the most gorgeous beach I believe. The hosts are amazing -helpful, responsive and friendly .

What a gem!

The accommodation is well placed as it is so close to Callala beach and yet far away from the crowds at Huskisson. We loved the fact that it was dog friendly as we could take our puppy on our holiday. The property is well provided for and every care has been taken by the owners to make the stay comfortable. We will certainly be repeat customers.

We enjoyed the house, with good facilities and great location. Unfortunately the washing machine was broken, not fixed, so we had to use a laundromat, which was a waste of time and spending of extra money as we did not get reimbursed for that. Two towels and one bedroom sheet was not smelling good so we had to wash ourselves to be able to use them.

A lovely and tidy house with a neat backyard, close to the beach Had a small problem with the heater but turned out just to be a flat battery on the remote. Owner was great as we worked out what the issue was and even reimbursed the cost of the batteries!

A stroll to the beach, and a lovely home

We stayed at Lennox & Lennox for 3 nights. The home is lovely and cosy with a great deck outside for BBQs and drinks, or simply cooling off after a trip to the beach (which is only a few mins walk from the house). Was lovely of the hosts to give us an early check in - and also helped when I had misplaced the keys!! We were unfortunately unlucky with the weather, with half of our trip raining - the downside of this is that there are not a lot of shops in the Callala Beach area, and you need to drive into Husky (just under 30 mins, or you can get the Husky ferry which gets there quite quick) if you want any proper shopping (ie clothing), otherwise there is a small village with an IGA. bakery/coffee, and a few other amenities, at Callala Bay which is a few mins drive away. There's also coffee and a few brekkie items (pastries) at the pizza shop in Callala beach which is about a 10 min walk from the house. The Callala Beach club is also about 10 mins walk. We got a sunny day on the Saturday so spent the day at the beach which was beautiful, chilling on the deck, and then catching a ferry into Husky for dinner at the pub. Worth the journey over as the water sparkles on a warm sunny day. Take note that the evening ferries are at around 6pm and 8pm (last ferry) - so you could be waiting a while if you finish dinner early with the kids! Regardless of the rain, we had a great stay and communication with the hosts was perfect. The house had everything we needed. Could not fault it.
