Schönes Anwesen mit traumhaften Blich übers Tal bis Meer

Das Haus ist im Internet sehr gut beschrieben. Netter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin Manuela. Bequemes großes Bett in der 1. Etag, in einem weiteren Zimmer noch 2 Einzelbetten. Die meisten Fenster sind mit Insektenschutz versehen. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man für einen mehrwöchigen Aufenthalt braucht. Gutes WLAN. Als Highlight empfanden wir den Außenbereich: Überdachter Sitzplatz mit gutem Schutz gegen Regen (und Sonne ;-). ein Gasherd, der noch besser funktioniert als innen, gute Ausleuchtung des Sitzbereiches in den Abendstunden. Etwas problematisch ist die steile kleine Rampe als Zufahrt, die engen Ein/Ausfahrten am Haus und der knappe Platz zum Wenden (Mittelklasse Kombi). Wer das vermeiden möchte, dem empfehle ich, die letzten Meter nach Greppolunge hochzufahren und am Ortseingang zu parken. Apropo Empfehlung: In der Fußgängerzone in Camaiore ziemlich unten gibt es einen traumhaft guten Metzger, u. a. Dry-aged-beef und auch ein paar sehr gute Brote.Sehr gutes Preis-Genußverhältnis.

Wonderful Tuscan holiday home

From Camaiore, a short drive up in the hills (narrow roads, but everyone is nice and friendly when you drive in opposite directions) leads to the tiny village Greppolungo where Casa Alba is located. Here you will find a true get-away for a lovely Italian holiday. From the terrace you’ll have a beautiful view of Viareggio and Lido di Camaiore and the sea, regardless of the weather! Surrounded by lemon trees and olive trees, in the beautiful terraced garden you’ll have both shade and sun. The outdoor kitchen was a true favourite of ours and we used it every single day. The house itself is just what you need and has everything you need. There are two perfect bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Our three year old daughter enjoyed her stay as well. Make sure you bring enough toys and a small children’s swimming pool if you want to keep them happy and cool on a hot summer’s day. She enjoyed playing hide and seek in the garden as well. The beaches of Torre del Lago are nearby and we also visited the cities of Pisa and Lucca, and various local wineries and olive oil producers. We highly recommend this holiday home!

Sommerurlaub in der Toskana

Wir (2 Personen + unsere 2 Hunde) durften zwei sehr angenehme Wochen im Casa Alba verbringen. Toller Ausgangspukt für Wanderungen oder Ausflüge (es müssen jedoch immer ca. 15 Auto-Minuten bergab über kleine enge Strassen einkalkuliert werden um Camaiore und somit "größere Straßen" zu erreichen). Sehr grosse Terrasse, die Außenküche mit Grill ist sensationell (wir haben im September lediglich einmal im Haus gekocht). Toller Garten für Hunde, da alles eingezäunt ist muss man sich hier keine Gedanken machen dass diese sich selbstständig machen.. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: ab ca. 16 bis 19 Uhr sehr viele Mücken :-( - da ist lange Kleidung angesagt. Vielen Dank an Manuela für die problemlose An-/Abmeldung und tadellose Vorbereitung des Hauses
