Quintessentially Cornish, The Hay Loft has all the ingredients for a romantic getaway, sleeping two guests and warmly welcoming your four-legged friend. There's a heavenly hot tub, magical firepit and an enclosed garden for your pooch to roam, not to mention you have an abundance of stunning walks and sandy beaches right on your doorstep.

This enchanting building offers a plethora of original features, head up the granite staircase and enter The Hay Loft on the first floor. With the ‘upside down' layout, step into the open plan living area, where you will be greeted by rustic elegance and an oh so cosy feel. There's a wood burning stove for those winter staycations, a sumptuous sofa and a Smart Television which enables you to access your own streaming accounts such as Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and Apple TV. There's also a selection of books and games, should you be kept inside by the weather. We love the large feature window, watch as raindrops trickle down on a moody day or let sunlight flood the space with ease during summer. There's a dining table with seating for four guests and a superbly equipped kitchen boasting an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and L'OR coffee machine.

Head downstairs to the ground floor to find the bedroom with a sumptuous king size bed adorned with soft white linens and a Smart Television for those all-important holiday lie-ins. You also have the added opulence of an en-suite shower room with a walk-in rainfall shower tiled with reclaimed 17th Century Delabole slate, a large vanity unit and LED mirror with demister pad, mood lighting and bluetooth connection, heated towel rail, wash basin and WC. Offering an utterly rejuvenating space to freshen up after a day of coastal or countryside rambles.

Your private garden offers an expanse of grass for your four-legged friend to roam, the gorgeous weeping tree takes centre stage, simply adding to the tranquillity. Get lost in a good book as you soak up the rays on a summer's day, and as night falls, the hot tub invites you to indulge under starry Cornish skies. There is also a charcoal barbecue for your use, cook up some local produce and enjoy dining alfresco with the one you love.

Deeply romantic, this snug retreat is located on the site of Penbroath Retreats, in a peaceful pocket of Cornwall. Here, you have the added luxury of a shared indoor heated swimming pool. The Pool House is a converted former farm shippon and now has a wonderful spa-like feel with calming aromas, ambient lighting and piped music. You'll also find a convenient ‘dog wash' station on site, for washing off sandy pooches and muddy paws. Finally, you'll have access to the communal laundry room which offers a washing machine, tumble dryer, general washing facilities and even a beachwear/wetsuit wash and drip dry station, there is also some beach equipment in the laundry room for your use - preparing you for every adventure! These are shared facilities with The Corner Cottage and The Old Dairy.
