The cottage comfortably sleeps four guests and can accommodate a fifth guest on request using the sofa bed in the living area. There are two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and a second with a double bed, both fitted with luxury mattresses. Fresh hotel-grade linen and towels are provided for every stay, so you can arrive and settle straight in.

The living area is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating, a smart TV, and a log burner that makes evenings especially cosy after a day exploring Cambridge or the surrounding countryside. Portable heaters are provided to keep the cottage comfortable in cooler weather, and the sofa converts into a bed when a fifth sleeping space is required. There is also a dining space for four guests, ideal for relaxed breakfasts or shared meals in the evening.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and all the cookware, crockery, and glassware you’ll need. Tea, coffee, and basic cooking essentials are provided to make your stay easy and convenient from the moment you arrive.

The bathroom is modern and well maintained, with a shower and bath, and fresh towels and essential toiletries are provided. Practical comforts such as free Wi-Fi, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and easy self check-in are all included to make longer or shorter stays straightforward.

Outside, the cottage has a private courtyard space tucked away from the High Street. Bikes can be securely locked outside the kitchen window, making this a practical base if you plan to cycle into Cambridge or along the River Cam. The property is ideally located between two excellent local pubs—the Crown & Punchbowl (Michelin-starred) and The Plough & Fleece, well known locally for its excellent Sunday roasts—both within easy walking distance. For morning coffee or breakfast out, Scottsdales Garden Centre is just a five-minute walk away, offering a convenient and pleasant local spot to start the day.
