The hotel is well managed, has a friendly staff and basically well situated overlooking the sea and promenade. However, there are many drawbacks. Firstly, it is impossible to leave the hotel and either go into the town or to the beach without having to walk up or down flights if steps. Secondly, there are restaurants just below the hotel which create noise until after midnight. Thirdly, every evening there is loud music playing until way after midnight which creates a thumping which is easily heard, even with closed windows. Therefore, if you are not an invalid or an oldie and can sleep though any noise this may be the hotel for you.

Dear Mr. Brian,thank you for choosing to stay with us and for your positive notes on our property.We are sorry you found Camogli and our central location difficult to access. Camogli as most of the Ligurian villages is embedded in rocks and developed vertically, unfortunately the presence of many stairs is an unavoidable element. During high season expecially on weekends there are many events all around the center so music and crowds can also be another part of the local experience.Kindest Regards
