Our property is a work in progress, and we continue to improve the land and surroundings. The cottage itself, however, is a cozy, well-built vintage space full of character and thoughtfully maintained for a comfortable stay.
The cottage is the smaller building on the property, tucked privately toward the back with its own carport. You’ll enter the drive, pass the main home and barn-style shed, and find the cottage set back from the road.
You may hear light ambient sounds of country living. Dogs and poultry (our chickens & ducks) are securely fenced, and the cottage is insulated for privacy and comfort.
On-site experiences available by request:
Private yoga, restorative aerial silk, Pilates, sound baths, guided rest, breathwork, and ladies-only pole sessions. perfect for solo guests or small group stays like birthdays or bachelorettes.
Your host is a long-time instructor (teaching since 1997, RYT-200 certified).
Walk to the town pool (seasonal), Butler Park, and the river. Carport parking fits most vehicles. A foldable table is provided for dining or work.
We take a practical, thoughtful approach to sustainability. What our great grandparents might have simply called “being resourceful.”
Our property incorporates solar power, mindful waste practices, and the use of reclaimed materials whenever possible. we fix equipment until it cant be fixed anymore. Food scraps are shared with the goats and birds (if you have something you want to share just message us first :) the goat loves carbs) , and we aim to reduce landfill impact through reuse and simple, intentional choices.
We use a blend of natural and conventional cleaning methods; if you have sensitivities, please feel free to reach out in advance. As with many rural properties, we are also mindful of our septic system and local water table.
Our on-site movement studio is fully solar powered
