Tucked beside a quiet spring-fed lake in the Red River Gorge, Dockside Cabin is designed for slow mornings, adventure days, and fireside nights. Whether you're here to hike, climb, fish, kayak, or simply relax by the water, this is the kind of place where time slows down and memories get made.

Start your morning with coffee on the dock as the lake is still and the trees reflect on the water. Spend the day exploring Red River Gorge, hiking nearby trails, climbing, or just floating in a kayak. Come back in the evening for the hot tub, fire pit, and a quiet night under the stars.

The Lake

Dockside Cabin is surrounded by trees and sits on a clear, spring-fed 1.5-acre lake that is approximately 25 feet deep and stocked with fish. The lake features a floating dock for swimming, sunning, relaxing, and fishing, and the water stays clear year-round due to the spring feed.

Bring your fishing poles, kayaks, float, or just a book — most guests spend their favorite moments right here by the water.

The cabin is stocked with everything you could need, communication with host was excellent. So many activities to do close by. We recommend Over the top UTV rentals located at the entrance to the resort. Red River Rockhouse and 145 Roadhouse are great restaurants we tryed.

Rich and Molly were very thoughtful hosts!!! They created a binder with local eateries and attractions for visitors to take advantage of fun things around them. This property was cozy and beautiful, perfect for our bride's bachelorette weekend. The property is close to several attractions near Mystic, CT and both Mohegan and Foxwoods. This house was absolutely perfect! Everything we needed it was available.

Staying here was perfect for us. It was close enough to the ocean and the bay to enjoy both sides. Businesses and shops were close enough we could walk to them. The donut / ice cream shop (Donut City) on the corner was definitely worth visiting! We will be using this company every time we come.
