The check in gentlemen was exceptional thats where the exceptional level ended. Its badly in need of new furniture ,beds, and renovation although cleaned well by the staff its not a go to stay. Affordable by Canberra standards it could be great if investment was made in renovation

Room was cold but comfy with air conditioning on. Nice king bed but sure could use warmer bedding. Bathroom clean and tidy but the shower very small. Should an upgrade be considered in the future increase the shower space and loose the triangular bathtub.

The staff, rooms and facilities were great. I felt very safe here with my kids and the hotel is within easy walking distance from the heart of Dickson and trams into Civic

This property is close to the Dickson Shopping Centre and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there is a great little cafe around the corner for something to eat. The room was a King Suite and was plenty big enough with a vast movie list available on the TV. The whole property is getting old and could do with a complete refurbishment but it is clean, quiet and easy to get to. The bathroom had a spa bath but a small shower and again was dated but clean and functional. All in all an OK place to stay.

Not a bad place to stay as a base for a couple

Friendly staff and made to feel welcome. This apartment hotel is adequate but the room we had was tired with broken blinds and drawer knobs missing. It could do with a thorough deep clean. General cleanliness was acceptable, but there were areas with old grime and dirt which should be addressed. Bed was comfortable, quite a firm mattress, but we prefer that. TV was not picking up hotel network signal for first ten days, we didnt raise this as an issue because, until it came on we werent aware it was missing! NB there is a very basic breakfast offering, but do not book this if you are looking for full hotel facilities, bar, restaurant etc. While we were there the lighting around the pool wasn't working, but again, from what we could see the pool and lounger area was in need of a clean and refresh. Overall the room served us fine as a base while visiting relatives, and as a place to sleep, but not a place we'd want to spend any leisure time. The garden area too should be lovely, but the furniture could do with treating. NB the cafe next door, Stepping Stone, is first class.
