Mixed bag. I’ll start with what we liked!
The complex was nice and has a front gate wjtb a guard. It felt safe. There was a tennis court and pools but you weren’t allowed in the pool with sunscreen so we used it only night, and it closes at 8:30 pm.
Location was near the beach but not close to shops or restaurants. When you go to the beach you have to bring everything you want because none of the bars or restaurants will let you dine (for hotel guests only). There is no super market or coffee shop nearby but there are a few pricy mini marts.
Villa itself was cute and decorated and spacious good with nice amenities. You could tell they really put thought into it. It was nice and clean when we arrived. There was unfortunately a broken AC unit in the first bedroom (for 4 people) which was unusable for the first day and a half so they slept on the couch. And showers were all clogged with hair which was gross and never got fixed.
Lastly communication with the host was SO bad. In the Vrbo app the month before the trip I sent probably 20 unresponded messages. I tried calling them many times without an answer. It got so bad customer service almost set me up with emergent housing due to unresponsiveness. Finally 3 days before the trip, they answered the phone, but due to language barrier there were still so many miscommunications before and during the stay.
Overall, it has potential to be a really nice vacation home, but we will stay elsewhere next time.
