Pros - Rooms were clean and spacious, Location was excellent and close to the airport, Free WiFi, Free Parking, Breakfast was good for the price and had vegetarian options. Free tea and coffee 24/7. Cons - The only thing we didn't like was the time it took us to check-in. There was only one staff and many tourists waiting to check in on a Saturday night (10-11pm). Also, both of our rooms were missing towels and we had to go and get them from the reception.

How should I start. It tooks us 20 minutes to find where the hotel shuttle pick up location. Then another 45 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. And despite a month ahead booking, we arrived at the hotel found the entire hotel is booked full and there is no room for us and another 3 families. We are ushered to City Express in Cancun hotel zone. Next morning we had a 6am flight, was told shuttle will be ready at 4am and we need to be ready at the lobby at 3:45. 4o’clock no shuttle, a taxi arrived but with charges. After we explained to the front desk, a shuttle was sent but only took us back to the original Marriott City Express. We had to wait again and get on another shuttle to airport. We are luck to make our 6am flight. I suppose perhaps knew Spanish would have speed things up a bit. But definitely the worst Marriott experience I ever had. Not sure other hotels around Cancun are better though. Another a family are stranded at the airport without hotel shuttle and was charged $130 $USD one way. If we didn’t have the patience, our one way airport to hotel (8 minutes drive) would have cost us $85 USD by taxi also. In comparison with Mexico City from airport to Roma Norte（30 minutes drive) of $23 USD, it’s definitely a ripoff.

The room is clean. They had a swimming pool, but it wasn’t heated so we couldn’t use it. It definitely was centrally located downtown. It wasn’t convenient if you wanted to go to the beach. However, it was convenient if you wanted to go by bus to other towns in the Yucatán.

This hotel doesn’t deserve even one star They say they have shuttle, but it doesn’t work. We had to wait 1 hour at airport, nobody answered the phone. So we had to pay a taxi to get to the hotel and paid almost the same price of the hotel. No tv working, no internet, no sink towels, The sink had a problem Bedroom light very poor Bed no good at all No lamp The list is huge, just bed things
