The staff were nice and helpful and the hotel was clean and very spacious however the food was not the best. They said there were 7 restaurants but only 2 were operational. They also count bars as restaurants which I think is misinformation for them to be posting that online. Also they try to sell you timeshare and make it appear as if it’s a gift from the hotel but there is a catch which is attending a presentation. I was quick to catch their offer as it seemed too good to be true and declined the “free gift” immediately so be cautious.

It was our first time in Cancun and we loved it!! The hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing. However the service at the restaurants is not the best servers would take forever to come to you and when they did it felt like we were bothering them. Food is good, but I was expecting more Mexican food since we were in Mexico 😅 each restaurant has a small Mexican menu in case you don’t want their cuisine menu. The hotel doesn’t have the beach as such on site, but the have a shuttle that would take you to their own beach club where everything is also included and service is great. A big thank you to Pablo (beach club manager), Mariale (host), Jossie (hooka girl), Jonathan and Rumbia our servers. GREAT service. The only reason why I’m not giving 5 stars is because since we checked out I have a charge on my CC and I’ve been calling since last Monday and no one can give me an answer. They keep transferring the call then I’m hold for 30 min and they hang. Or I’m sent to call reception and I’m told that’s not the right department. So I still don’t know what’s that charge for. Besides that I would definitely come back to this hotel. P.S. please tip your servers if they’re doing great even though if everything is included!!!

This was my second visit, and overall it was a lovely experience. That said, I want to share a few things that stood out. The room was missing conditioner and body wash—not a big issue since I had brought my own. The robes also weren’t in the room, but they were delivered promptly once requested. Upon check-in, we were told our bags would be brought up instead of taking them ourselves. Unfortunately, after waiting 25 minutes, we had to call down, and it was another 15 minutes before they finally arrived. This was stressful since I had time-sensitive medication in my luggage. I understand the resort can be busy, but honestly, we would have been fine just taking our bags ourselves. The most concerning issue, and the reason I’m writing this, is the rooftop pool area. While the walkway is very beautiful, it has no texture or grip. I slipped and fell into the pool, badly bruising my foot and big toe. I had to fly the next day, which made the swelling worse, and now my big toenail is cracked in half. It is extremely painful and will cause me to miss work while it heals—not how I wanted a vacation to end. Overall, I truly enjoyed the stay, but I feel compelled to raise this safety concern. Without a change to the material or design of that walkway, I’d worry about others experiencing the same or worse.

We loved all of the service from the front desk to housekeeping, and especially the bartenders! The A/C worked and was awesome in our room and all the restaurants. We would definitely return and I wish we could go back this weekend too!

Overall it was a good experience. I did love the roof top access as this was a calmer quieter area. I wouldn’t advertise a “beach view” it’s more like a “Laguna view”. Food could be better. We were not a huge fan of the French cuisine. I wasn’t a fan of the advertisement of going to tour another resort. I am on vacation and would enjoy it without the advertisement. With all that said, I would still stay at this resort again.
