Very family friendly. Lots to do if you want. Nice beach and pools. Staff was very polite. Great service from the concierge and front desk. We originally were given a room that overlooked the parking lot and some air conditioning units which was disappointing. We inquired about switching and they moved us to a ground floor beside the pool which the kids absolutely loved. The all inclusive was very much worth it as I don't think we stopped eating. Our concierge, Laura, was the best. She helped call the company that we had booked our day excursion with to make sure we had all the info needed and our pickup time! Also, sitting through the timeshare presentation was well worth the free couples massage they gave us in return. Unfortunately was very much out of our price range as we rarely go on tropical vacations.10/10 would go again.

I don’t often write reviews however, I thought this resort deserved one. Whenever I book an All-Inclusive trip to Cancun every few years, I always pick a new resort. After my stay here, this is the one resort I would actually come back to! It was genuinely really nice. The food was super satisfying for an “all-inclusive”. I wouldn’t bother making a reservation at the Italian restaurant on-site (the appetizers were better than the main course). Nonetheless great resort for a great price. Super peaceful a no rowdy “Spring Breakers”.

Very quiet family friendly resort. The pools and resort is very well maintained and very clean all around. We got a beautiful room on third level with a perfect view of the resort and ocean in the horizon. This is our third time visiting this place and we noticed the food options is different and variety has gone down. Looks like new owners and some rules and regulations had been changed but we still love this place and would come back again would totally recommend to friends and family. The beach is spectacular because it is very calm and safe both for babies age and with older kids.

Our family of four really enjoyed our week at the Royal Cancun. The staff were all friendly and attentive, many knew our names by the end of the week. We’ll definitely be back! Shout out to Antonio, our concierge, he was invaluable in making our stay perfect. Really appreciated Alfredo, Patricia, and Fidel on the beach and by the pools, Manuel at La Palapa, Jeremias, out front, the room service staff and all the others who seemed to enjoy their role in making guest experiences the best they could be!

The property is quaint and smaller than many, making it easy to get to and from the beach, pool, dining etc…. So well maintained and clean. Food is pretty good with a nice variety. Overall, an amazing stay with a fee shuttle to access the larger property at the Royal Sands with other options for dining and a beach with waves.

Fantastic resort. We went with three families for a combined total of six adults and eight kids ranging from 6 to 13. The water is super calm and the beach has nice white sand. The staff are all super friendly and attentive. Lots of people who have time shares for like 30 years. Not a lot of places to eat but the food is great and we never got sick of it. You can swim in the pool until 10pm and the swim up bar is open until 930. Great time. The resort essentially shuts down at 10pm. I thought that would be a problem for night time entertainment but it wasn't an issue. The rooms are large enough that we could comfortably fit all three families into one and hang out. Room service is 24 hours so that's nice. You also get access to the Royal Sands so if you want the busier resort vibe for a day or two you can just shuttle there for free. Carlos, our concierge was fantastic. Went above and beyond. Honestly, it was a fantastic resort. Oh. One interesting thing is there were no mobs of birds. Resorts literally next door had birds all over stealing food and being annoying. Not this one. It was nice.

We just back from vacations and the Royal Cancun place exceed our expectations! We love our space where we stayed and easy access to the swimming pool from the ground floor. Food was great and the resort was perfect for families with kids. My girls enjoyed pool a lot and also the wonderful people are working there like Vera ( the front desk), Corina ( kids club) and Manuel ( one of the afternoon server), it just few of them who we have built conversations but overall our staying was incredible and we would to come back for our next vacations to this property again even though they have a lot of choices of resorts around. We had a fantastic time. The staff was wonderful. We never felt not taken care of. The food was good. Not fancy but, it was just fine. If you want night life, this is not the place. It shuts down at 10pm. This is one of the cleanest places I have ever been. They were so friendly and greeted us every time we saw them.
