Where to start?! Great location, fabulous welcome from the staff, great room with the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for a long time, super clean, and loved the fridge/microwave. And did I say great rates? The value for what we paid was excellent. Bonus: Bankhead restaurant is attached to the hotel (no need to go outside even) and the food snd service were fantastic. The restaurant even has international breakfast options (Indian, Philipino, Eastern European etc). We’ll definitely use this as our mountain base in the future.

Staff services are awesome. Room facility are clean, new and modern. I like their shampoo, body washer, coffee. A lot of parking. A view to mountain is good. It is very easy to buy food because Canmore is small, easy to find petro.

Part of the Basecamp group (Sky and her husband) this lower-end 2-star motel checks all the requirements for the rest of us travelers on a budget. What makes it stand out is the renovated rooms, mattress quality and clranliness of the hardworking personnel that make your exlerience memorable.

We stayed in this hotel in May 2025 so coming back was a no brainer However.. the first thing said at the front desk when I asked what direction to our room .. was that the lock on door doesn’t always work may need to try a couple of times and the water took forever to heat up .. was good to have fire place to take chill out of room…
