Trains are a factor of life in all Canadian mountain towns. From the very beginning Canmore was built around the train line, including 90% of the local hotels and condos in town, which means that this property is along a train line, however, it is very well insulated against sound. Bedrooms are on the opposite side of the condo from the train line and the train should not disturb even the lightest of sleepers. Watching the trains go past is actually quite fascinating and not just for the train buffs! Please read our guest reviews for previous insight.

The location and amenities were just as advertised. Centrally located - a short walk to shopping and restaurants. The suite is clean, bright and well appointed. In-suite laundry was fantastic!Communication was timely, friendly (even entertaining), and clear.

Excellent location. Parking can be challenging, depending on the time of day. Grocery store is directly behind the unit. Lots of ammenities provided: garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and some non perishable food items. Our major issue was with the portable AC unit. It was to "cool" our space, as the unit does not have central air. Immediately upon arrival I called with concerns. It was low 80s, which is around 28 celsius, our 1st 3 days. Our unit was the same temp! It was hot and uncomfortable. Especially after you've been hiking since morning and come back to relax and you're miserable instead. The nice lady was doing everything she could to get us comfortable. Small repair to the window and she brought us 3 fans to help move air around. It did cool down for our last 2 days and it was much more comfortable/tolerable. The AC not cooling is only a issue, if the temps are warmer. Otherwise, we wouldn't have had any "complaints". We had an amazing trip and appreciate the help provided!

The space was comfortable - thank youIt was difficult to find in the dark, and there was no one to connect with for further instructions. We did eventually find it.. it would have been nice to have more precise location instructions as the entry was in a strip mall.

The service was amazing. Because we were there for an extended time, something in the apartment was making us all sneeze. There is also a very loud bang that happens every half hour or so that seems to be coming from the fridge? It's overall very clean, service is amazing and the location can't be beat. We'd definitely stay here again.

Disappointing in the extreme

The property is above a strip mall on a highway. The air conditioner was not installed properly and made the space hotter. The floors were so dirty they made my bare feet black. The dishwasher smelled like fish. The fridge smelled stale. When I emailed about the a/c and the floors, I got zero response. Would NOT recommend.
