Well worth it

Myself and my 6 yearl old daughter arrived late on Friday night. Reception were very friendly and we got a nice room. It was clean and well maintained. The location of hotel is perfect. The beach is at one end of street and train station at the other end, which is handy for day trips like the one we went on to Monte Carlo, very enjoyable. Juan les pins is a great town and it was our first time there. I'm not sure I would go again in early April as it was pretty quiet, which is great for me but not so great for my daughter. All in all this hotel is fab. By the way our taxi from airport was booked with suntraders, by far the best quote we got and really easy, collected at arrivals and dropped to door.

Just the thing!

We had a very enjoyable 4-day break here in December. The hotel is very conveniently located for train/bus/seafront/shops/restaurants etc and is quiet, comfortable and very clean. Did not take breakfast in the hotel - the supplies of water, coffee and fruit juice in the room plus a croissant from the local bakery was enough. We would happily return.

An enjoyable stay

This hotel's in a great location, with the beach at the end of the street and the train station at the other end. The room was clean and tidy and air-conditioned with a balcony overlooking the carpark; don't expect a seaview! Our room smelt of smoke on arrival, we requested a change but there was no other option. Make sure you request a smoking/non-smoking room on booking. We enjoyed our stay in Juan les Pins, a couple of nights here is enough but Nice and Cannes are both about 20 mins away and there's a lot more to do in both of these places. The beaches are lovely, most of the beach in Juan les Pins is taken over with private sunloungers that you have to pay for; about 15euro per day. There's a public beach further down which is free. But it's sandy, unlike the stony beach in Nice.

Terrible Check in / Check out

Room wasn‘t ready at the (already late) check in time 3PM. Had to wait about 30min more. At the check out they wanted me to pay my stay again, even if I let them know I already paied in advance. Mistakes can happen but the lady at the desk was super unfriendly and not helpful to sort this out. Big thanks to the nice ebookers agent who finaly helped me clear the situation with the hotel. Due to the delay of the check out I missed the train to Cannes and couldn‘t attend a screening of the film festival.

Even genieten van een korte break

Na drukke werkmaanden er even tussenuit om nog te genieten van zon, zee en strand in combinatie met de Franse flair. Astoria hotel lag in een zijstraatje op nog geen 100 m van het strand en de gezellige restaurantjes. De kamer was netjes, ruim genoeg voor een kort verblijf, de badkamer voorzien van propere handdoeken (elke dag), de koffie en thee werd dagelijks aangevuld. Alles was dik inorde. Alleen was het heel warm in de kamers ZONDER verwarming. Sliepen met balkondeuren wagenwijd open. Het ontbijt is wel elke dag hetzelfde. Spijtig dat ze geen variatie voorzien, maar dit ligt waarschijnlijk aan de BestWesternformule.

Mukava hotelli

Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen rannan, kauppojen ja ravintoloiden läheisyydessä. Myös juna-asemalle on lyhyt matka, jos haluaa matkustaa paikkallisjunalla muualle. Hotelli oli mukava ja siisti ja kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Kadulta kuului hieman esim. roska-autojen ääniä yöllä, vaikka äänieristys muuten oli hyvä. Hotellin hinta-laatusuhde on hyvä.

Zentral gelegen und doch sehr ruhig, super!

Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen schönen Urlaub in Juan-les-Pins/Best Western Astoria. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
