Wow, what a find! Steps from the beach/Boulevard de la Croisette, free parking on site, and friendly staff, all for an incredible price. I enjoyed popping down for a morning swim in the mornings — even without a towel, as it was 2 minutes away. The staff on site were incredibly helpful in giving us directions to the main sites and train station for Monaco—all an easy walk away. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, a rare find indeed.

Lovely hotel, great location!

I myself have stated at Hotel Alexandre III; and subsequently booked it many times for my colleagues as well. All (myself included) have stated that the reception at the hotel is lovely; with the receptionist always happy to answer questions, friendly and helpful. The rooms are great; clean, airconditioned and comfortable. The hotel's location is perfect for short walks to the supermarket, a little pizza shop, the ports of Moure Rouge & Port Canto, as well as the popular Promenade de la Croisette. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again, as well as continue making bookings for my colleagues. Thanks to Hotel Alexandre III and the staff!

We would recommend this charming hotel to everybody , very good location near the beach , restaurants and stores.Hotel has nice cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean with beautiful view. Had such nice time and can't wait to come back.

Nice hotel, close to the beach and city center.

A very nice and price-accessible hotel, located 2 blocks away from the beach and 5 blocks from the city center. Staff service is excellent. Room is large and comfortable. As remarks, there are not enough AC plugs in the room, there is no elevator (Hard for handicapped people and luggage) and the lobby and concierge is closed by night.

"OK" Hotel in Cannes

Hotel Alexandre III is a small, friendly hotel that is nicely located in Cannes. The rooms we had were "OK" (we had two rooms reserved for our 3-night stay), though they are in need of a few updates & attention to detail in terms of cleanliness. (One of our rooms had somewhat disturbing "stains" on the light curtains, such that we were concerned with coming into contact with them. Yikes!) Of note, however, is the size of the showers in each of our rooms. They are "seriously" small....you cannot shower in them comfortably -- honestly cannot effectively take a shower in them. The owner of the property & the one with whom we had primary contact during our stay is very friendly & accommodating to his guests. Unfortunately, however, given the other issues we had with our rooms, we are not likely to return to this hotel property in the future.

Comfortable hotel. Lots of charm and character. Really friendly staff! Easy walk to the esplanade, but another 20-30 minute walk to all the interesting sights. It is quiet though.

Excellent Hotel in Cannes!

We checked-in relatively late - around 10pm - but the receptionist was expecting us and everything was ready. Service was EXCELLENT throughout the stay. The rooms appear as if they have been recently renovated and are very comfortable if a little small (but more than the average size in France). There is also complimentary private parking at the back of the hotel which was convenient. The breakfast offered by the hotel is mediocre. There is a small selection of cheese or ham, croissants, baguettes, yogurts, juice, tea, and coffee. We received complimentary breakfast, however if I had a choice I would most likely go out and buy my own. As for the location, the hotel is very close to both the beach (<5 minutes) and the center of Cannes. Overall, I was VERY impressed with this hotel and I would definitely stay here again!

Au vu du parking, nous avons laissé les clefs de la voiture à la réception pour faire une grasse matinée…. 9h le téléphone sonne… pouvez vous déplacer le voiture 😡 je vous ai laissé les clefs pour cela !! De plus pas de volets dans le chambre donc vers 7-8h le soleil Par contre établissement très bien placé à 5-10 min du port à pied
