We are still talking about this trip! Very huge plus being on the beach, but the drawback was not having a view from our room. We both decided we would have rather booked a room with a view. But the beach was steps, literally steps away. Got my first door ding in my year old car from someone who was careless in the properties lot but that has nothing to do with the property.

Nice property but a very busy area rright next to state beach. Not sure the room was worth the price. Nicely maintained but an easy chair would have added to the comfort. Easy access to beach and a nice grocery right across the street. Housekeeping consisted of a knock on the door asking if anything was needed. They are short-staffed too. Coffee paraphernalia had not been provided but when I called the front desk for it, I was told to come there to pick it up since housekeeping was not in for another hour and no one else was in reception.

Great location, Great Price

This hotel is right at Comfort Beach which is an absolute amazing location. The rooms are updated and comfortable however, they do not have air conditioning relying on an open window. Thankfully, it’s not super noisy but having a window open all night with voices going up and down the corridor can be a little disorientating.

My booking online was not correct apparently and within 10 minutes called to tell me I couldn’t have the room I booked. So I ended up with a different room and spent almost $2k to sleep on the worst pull out sofa ever for 3 nights.

It’s very noisy. The walls and insulation between floor and ceiling are non existent…you can hear every step, scraping chair, and running child. On on our ground floor room, the neighbors smoked on the patio and all their smoke blew into our room…we had to shut the sliding doors when we were trying to enjoy an ocean breeze. Even though the hot tub is only for adults, it was full of kids. The pool is supposed to be open to adults at 9 pm., but it was full of kids and we left. The staff said kids get asked to leave at 9:30.

Great location for a family gathering. The studio was large and the ocean view was beautiful. We had about 14 people staying in different rooms and we could all gather for appetizers and a nice visit in the studio area before going out to dinner. Highly recommend this hotel.

The beach and view were outstanding. The suite was spacious, and the staff were polite. However, housekeeping never refilled supplies such as coffee, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.. We kept having to call or visit the front desk to get items. There was one day the room wasn't cleaned at all. The mattress was the worst we've ever had at a hotel - squeaky, crunchy, flat, sunken - basically needed to be replaced. For the price we paid, a breakfast, even just a continental breakfast, would have been nice. We would stay there again for the beach and ocean view, no other reason.

The view from the location can’t be beat. Watching sunset from here, being able to have fires on the beach and its quiet location were all highlights. The only downside is that many of the units, including the one we stayed at have Murphy beds. And while they have tried to make them comfortable, they are not. They also do not have air conditioning but do have box fans so that helps the air flow in the room.
