Bogrie Country Cottage is a charming, detached country cottage set on a quiet country lane surrounded by rolling hills, open farmland, and softly meandering rivers and views of the Solway coast.

With comfort in mind Bogrie Country Cottage has been beautifully decorated throughout whilst still retaining the outwardly charm of a typical Galloway cottage. The bedrooms have been carefully designed with feature headboards and beautifully colour co-ordinated fabrics and cushions while the sitting room has a luxurious sofa perfect for curling up on beside the cosy wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped, and the new Shower Room is modern with a large walk-in shower. The gardens surrounding Bogrie Country Cottage are every bit as appealing as the cottage itself.

The summer house is the perfect addition where you can sit on a bright but perhaps chillier day enjoying the views towards the Cumbrian Hills and with an outside BBQ and pizza oven you can enjoy dining al-fresco. Easily accessible to many of the major routes Bogrie Country Cottage is the ideal please to start exploring the wonders Dumfries and Galloway and Cumbria. Visit Gretna Green, synonymous with romance and runaway couples and one of the world’s most popular wedding destinations where marriage ceremonies are still performed over a blacksmith’s anvil or enjoy a day’s shopping at Gretna Green Outlet Village. This delightful area has plenty for all ages including beaches and cliff top walks, golf courses, fishing, many historic sites and castles, and lovely little towns and villages to visit.
