Business-Charme der 70er.

Pros: Ein Caipirinha auf der Hotelterrasse am Abend.
Cons: Nicht wirklich.
Location: In der Nähe von Como - einen Stadtbummel wert.
Ein viereckiger Klotz direkt an einem Verkehrskreisel im etwas heruntergekommenen Modernismus eines Business-Hotels, das seine besten Jahre überlebt hat. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals bringt etwas Licht in die dunklen Zimmertürfluchten, deren Wände mit rostbraun-messingfabenen metallischen Täfelungen etwas das aufgefangene Licht der Lämpchen reflektieren, das dann allerdings umgehend verschluckt wird vom dunkelbraunen abgetretenen Teppichboden. Zimmer sind mit Schlüsseln zu öffnen und das Blechschild am Schlüssel dient, in einen Schlitz gesteckt, für Licht im Raum. Das Doppelbett ist reichlich dimensioniert, an den Wänden Elemente einer veralteten Designerdeko und hinterm Fernseher erkennt man offenherzig die Elektroinstallation. Die Minibar scheint eher zu wärmen, auch auf Stufe 7... Die Nasszelle ist mit viereckigem IKEA(-like)-Waschtisch ansprechend, die Dusche ist jedoch ab XL für Hobbyagoraphobiker eine Zumutung - die Türen klemmen. Die direkt anschlissende Türzarge ist dementsprechend durch chronische Überwässerung vom Spritzwasser angefressen. Alles aber kein wirkliches Problem - das brummende Rauschen der Klimaanlage liess sich dann nach Überlistung abstellen. Das Frühstücksbufet am Morgen - war ganz ok.
