Spend the night in this blast-from-the past 1930's Shot Gun House: A cozy house with history, character and style. The casita is Situated in a peaceful neighborhood within a mile of historic downtown Canyon.

Having been founded in the lean 1930's, the Castia was built with conservation of lumber in mind. It's shiplap ceiling is noticably lower than average, and there are no doors between the main three rooms, only doorways. A humble cottage for humble times.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum. You'll find features like laundry facilities. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the vacation home.

Great place for folks visiting Palo Duro with a dog

This place is located in a little neighborhood near to anything one might need during a stay. We used the place as a jumping off point for a few days of Palo Duro exploration. Our husky approved of the yard. I thought the place was charming.
