It’s unfortunate that I have to submit such a review for a haitian hotel that should be among those that I have already visited and that show effort to improve service quality on a daily basis.
I made a reservation via Orbitz for a superior room, with “Sea view”. When I went there, the receptionist gave me something like a jail room without any view, on anything. After visiting it, I went to her to complain about the room, since it was not what I made the reservation for. I showed her my reservation confirmation email, where the details were clearly mentioned. She agreed that the reservation was correct, but told me that she cannot give me anything else, since what she gave me was what her administration told her to do.
I was so surprised and chocked that I made the decision to leave the property immediately and without asking for any reimbursement for the night cost and even for the shuttle to the airport that I’ve paid for in advance. It’s a shame that a property used some organizations like Orbitz, Booking.come, you name it…to promise what they cannot deliver.
I’m saddened that this happened and for sure, will never return over there anymore, neither recommend it to friends and family members.
