Sophie was excellent at communication and met us at the property with the keys and full instructions. Inside the house is modern with good sized bedrooms and a very well stocked kitchen. The welcome basket of local produce was highly appreciated.The Pool and garden are exceptional with plenty to keep all ages occupied. The Pool was cleaned twice a week and the rubbish was removed.The location is remote and wonderful yet close to Monpazier and all the Dordogne has to offer.Overall, excellent.

Family gathering

We were given a lovely welcome by Maria and Santiago, and a nice basket of local food and drink. The grounds of the house are beautiful and spacious with plenty of activities and lots of equipment. The pool was super. The house is very well equipped with all you need. Our week coincided with a serious heatwave and it was impossible to keep the bedrooms cool despite the fans. There is no Wi-Fi at the property but 4G was ok.We were a little more remote than we expected but we had a great relaxing time.

Magnifique endroit

Nous avons passé une semaine entre amis avec des enfants dans cette jolie maison au milieu des bois. Les équipements étaient vraiment super ainsi que la piscine. Le seul bémol les insectes. Beaucoup de gentilles attentions de la part des propriétaires.

Super séjour. Lieu isolé et calme. Plein de possibilités de visites.

Le sejour est passé trop vite. Temps agréable du soleil pour profiter de la piscine et du temps un peu plus frais pour les visites ( Bergerac - Château de Monbazillac et des Millandes). Le seul petit problème mais un détail les moustiques.

The perfect getaway

Séjour à 2 familles, très plaisant

Un accueil chaleureux, une maison spacieuse et bien achalandée avec un immense jardin très agréable, multiples activités… seul bémol: les insectes très présents (mais partout en pleine canicule…). 15 à 45 minutes maxi de la grande majorité des grands sites du Périgord. Nous recommandons nettement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Placée au milieu des bois, je craignais un peu que mes petits enfants, entre 11 et 15 ans, trouvent l'endroit un peu loin de tout. Mais ce fut le contraire, ils ont été emballés et nous avons eu du mal à les emmener faire des visites dans les beaux villages voisins.

Wonderful!

Had a great time here with friends. The beautiful grounds are amazing with loads of games and activities to keep you busy... Basketball, football, table tennis, boules, swimming, badminton, volleyball. Very isolated and quiet but a short drive from the pretty village of Monpazier. Highly recommend.

Apres de longs mois sans se voir, nous cherchions un endroit pour nous retrouver entre amis (9 adultes). La maison dans la forêt a ete un lieu parfait : extrêmement bien équipée à tout point de vue, le charme d'une maison ancienne avec une renovation moderne reussie ! mention speciale à Marie-Josee et Santiago pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil chaleureux sur place.

Calme et convivialité

La maison, bien cachée dans les bois, est un lieu idéal pour se retrouver entre amis ou en famille. La cuisine et le salon sont spacieux et offrent tout l’espace dont on a besoin de se poser confortablement et profiter de moments conviviaux. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Un petit paradis

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end dans ce petit coin de paradis. Étant venus pour un mariage, nous n’avons pas profité de tout ce que nous offrait nos charmants hôtes. Vacances de caractère, au calme Et joyeuses

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour dans cette charmante maison au milieu des bois. Tout le confort etait la dans un caractère plein de caractère. Nous avons put nous ressourcer en famille et profiter de la magnifique piscine. Un seul bémol, sûrement dû à l’après canicule, des attaques de petits moucherons Nous a empêché de profiter de soirées en extérieur .. dommage! Une prochaine fois!

Super semaine en pleine nature

La maison est très bien équipée et il y a énormément d’activités sur place! (Piscine, pétanque, foot, badminton, Ping Ping...). L’endroit est très calme, mais proche des commerces (10 min en voiture). Malheureusement nous avons eu des moucherons mais nous avons quand même pu profiter des extérieurs. Point d’attention, il n’y a pas internet et parfois le réseau téléphonique ne passe pas très bien. Merci encore pour ce séjour, nous reviendrons!
