The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay including beach supplies, life jackets and toys for the kids which we really appreciated. Convenient location to the beach and to the main part of town. The owner was helpful and responsive to questions. Things that could improve - king mattress could use a refresh b/c felt very worn and some kind of covering for glass on the front door would be helpful with privacy at night. Overall we would stay here again!

The perfect getaway!

We loved our stay at Sol Mate. This was our first visit to Cape Charles and we loved how close we were to everything! Wifi was pretty unreliable for much of the trip so be mindful if you're planning on going for a long weekend and doing any work while you're there. Especially if any poor weather is running through! Our kids loved the bunk room but could use an additional night light upstairs (the light up alarm clocks weren't working) because it gets super dark up there! Overall a great stay and we will definitely be back.
