We were there for my daughter’s graduation from the Coast Guard and the manager was super friendly and helpful. We drove in from Philadelphia airport and we arrived a couple hours earlier than the check in time and since our room was ready she let us in our room early.
Was not able to check in at 4. The last rm was not ready. There was a musty type odor entering the room. I asked for an extra set of towels and I received a still damp pair out of their dryer. Then I received a text stating I would receive a 12p check out for the rm not being ready. Only to receive another text stating that I was to be out by 11am. Then I received another text saying that I didn’t have a shower curtain, but the shower had a sliding door. Then someone knocked on the door the day of check out at 10:20 am to see if we’d gone yet.
There was a problem with toilet. PROBLEM ON Friday. Saturday morning, and afternoon, no toilet use all night.
Said they called a plumber, never came.
Worker brought up dirt, toilet did not work all night, not working on Sunday morning, up until we checked out.
The property provided a lot of small bungalow style stays but we chose the single room option for the money. It wasn’t bad but the difference in quality is ability noticed right away and continues to stay prevalent. Overall not the worst single room stay I’ve had. But I would not stay in it again. I would try the bungalows, due to the overall property and location.
Definitely a misrepresentation from beginning to end. Keyless entry was fine. The room was not very clean. Bathroom towels were stained and the sheets were like sandpaper. Where was the pool? Never saw it. Way way overpriced for the poor motel experience.
