Close to tram station and 5minute walk to the Main Street. Staff friendly although hard to find at times. Room ran out of hot water for a shower. Tea not replaced. Room tired. Breakfast was ok.

Lovely place to stay. The room was beautiful, clean and had everything we need. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s an ideal location from the centre of the town and easy access to the wine tram. We would definitely stay here again.

Be very careful the property is not maintained and the outside area is extremely dirty . The pool was so murky you couldn’t see the bottom , the staff blamed the wind but it was certainly a lot more than wind causing the dirt and debris around the property . Maintenance is a major problem for them . The manager cindy promised a refund for our last night when we decided to check out early due to the problems, two months later I am still waiting . There is plenty more Places to chose from , I would avoid this place at all cost

Short & easy walk to Franschhoek where you can find restaurants & shopping. This little gem is a clean and well cared for property, the pool was great for cooling off after a hot day. The managers were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious, large selection of foods and hot breakfast items.

A beautiful guest house a stones throw from the main strip in Franschhoek. The ladies couldn’t be more welcoming, and the breakfast the next day was excellent with both hot and cold options. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Ashbourne Guest House! Courtney and Cindy greeted us with a glass of wine and made us feel at home right away. The room was very spacious and clean. The fridge was stocked with many different choices and there were snacks available in the room too (both for purchase). Breakfast in the morning is freshly made baked goods, fruits, meats, cheeses and a full hot menu to choose from (including dim sum of all things!). The B&B is walking distance to both the main street and the wine tram. It’s safe at night and load shedding wasn’t an issue as they have generators. We stayed in the poolside room and would recommend anyone stay there. It’s a very peaceful and quiet B&B.
